Memorandum

1.
Thank you for accessing the Database. It is gratifying to see personnel accessing it, indicating to us that its continued maintenance is justified. However, that maintenance requires a large amount of time and Foundation resources, and there is some doubt that the Database maintenance staff will be able to meet its goal of making new files accessible to you on a regular semiweekly basis without financial assistance.

The Database will always be free to access. And so, in lieu of a mandatory fee (or selling advertising space on highly classified object briefings), a Patreon has been launched to facilitate the raising of funds. Personnel who wish to do so may voluntarily pledge 1 USD or more per month to the cause, in exchange for varying levels of further access to the Database archives. For example, access to the so-called “Joke” SCP object briefings that were uploaded to the Database without authorization by Dr. █████ will be unlocked to those pledging 5 USD [since lowered to 3 USD] or more. Those pledging higher amounts may request specific object briefings be made available, and there may also be free merchandise available to Database patrons in the future. The SCP Foundation Database maintenance staff thanks you for your continued support.

2.
An investigation has been launched into the unauthorized creation of a Database Twitter account that has been “tweeting” about the Database’s recent classified activities using the handle @SCPDataPodcast. If any personnel have information regarding this breach, please contact Foundation security immediately.

3.
The SCP Foundation Database is now accessible via the following channels to those with proper clearance credentials: Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Overcast, Castro, Pocket Casts, and SoundCloud. If any personnel are so inclined, they are invited to submit a rating or review of the Database on the channel of their choosing. Doing so will simultaneously increase the Database’s visibility among those cleared to utilize those channels, and boost the maintenance staff’s fragile morale.

4.
The Database’s Maintenance Staff Chorale will be on tour in the UK from July 19 through 29. No new file will be uploaded to the Database during that time.
